celebrates the new life and

the greening of the Earth, and
the time of fertility and the
joy of sexual union. Our
Universal Worship will bring us
the Wisdom of Unity within many
of the world religions on this
theme.

 Ancient Secrets of the
Bee Priestesses with Layne

Chanting, overtone singing, and
humming sacred sounds to the
rhythms of the frame drum is an
ancient technique for directly
synchronizing the mind and body,
creating conditions for
psychological, physical, and
spiritual healing. The ancient
Bee Priestesses, called the
Melissa in Greek or the Deborahs
in Hebrew, served the Bee
Goddesses: Aphrodite, Artemis,
Cybele, Demeter, Persephone,
Neith, all associated with the
frame drum. This gathering will
explore these ancient techniques
through drumming, chanting,
overtone singing, and buzzing
and humming practices. Complete

join us for a time of deep
attunement and "drinking with
the Beloved" -- a long summer
weekend of Sufi practice,
including the Dances of
Universal, Zikr ("remembrance"),
Sohbet ("spiritual discourse"),
Turning, meditation and silence,
exploring sacred sound through
drumming, men's and women's Zikr
circles, and the teachings of
Hazrat Pir-O-Murshid Inayat
Khan, Murshid Samuel L. Lewis,
Pir Moineddin Jablonski, and
Murshida Vera Corda. Sunday
afternoon is an optional Mureeds
Retreat for Sufi initiates. A
limited number of individual
SoulWork sessions with Mariam
will be available before or
after the retreat by prior
