PeaceWorks International

Sacred dance, song, and story bring people together all over the world at times of seasonal ceremony and celebration, as part of everyday life and life passages, and in daily renewal and meditation. The Dances of Universal Peace are part of this timeless tradition of Sacred Dance.

The Dances use simple songs and movements to touch the spiritual essence within.
These movements and songs make up over 400 Dances and include themes of peace (both inner and outer), healing (the Earth, individuals, and the global family), and the celebration of life's great mysteries. Dancers express harmony and community while celebrating the underlying unity of all the spiritual traditions of the Earth.

Newcomers are happily welcomed.
No experience or special abilities are needed. Trained leaders present complete instructions, and wonderful live music is provided.

There are two ongoing Dance meetings
each month in Raleigh and Durham, and periodic special Dance events.

Dance Attunements are community gatherings to prepare our hearts, minds, and beings for upcoming Dance meetings. Dancers, singers, musicians, and musician wannabes are all welcomed. Free.
